Our Scholarship Competition invites passionate students, graduates, and young professionals to give us a behind-the-scenes look at their daily journey in the industry. Whether you are now studying towards your degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts, greeting guests at a hotel, curating unforgettable dining experiences in a restaurant, or leading a kitchen with creativity and flair, we want to see how you bring passion and excellence to your school or work every day.

This year’s theme, "A Day In The Life Of An Industry Professional", invites you to share a closer look at your daily experiences in the world of Hospitality or Culinary Arts. This theme is about more than just showing your daily tasks; it’s an opportunity to share your own story. By sharing A Day In Your Life, you can highlight the values that drive you, the skills you have developed, and the goals you are working towards in your career.
Through the Scholarship Competition, we aim to celebrate the diversity and dedication of the next generation of industry leaders. This is your chance to showcase your talent and enthusiasm, and take the next step towards an exciting international career with our J-1 Intern or Trainee Program in the United States. Your video will not only represent your day-to-day, but also your passion for the industry and your vision for the future.

How To Enter In The Competition?
Participants will have to submit their most updated CV/Resume by completing the registration form here.
Our team of experts will review the CV/Resume to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria for the J-1 Intern & Trainee Program and Visa. In order to submit your resume, click here.
We will inform you via email if you are eligible for a Hospitality or Culinary J-1 Intern or Trainee Program with us. If eligible and meeting the requirements, you will have to submit to us a minimum 1-minute-long video.

In addition to showcasing your day, you must be present in the video and answer the following questions:
What are some of your favorite moments or experiences in your current role?
What challenges do you face in your daily routine, and how do you overcome them to ensure great service or a successful outcome?
How would a J-1 Intern or Trainee Program in the USA help you take your career to the next level?
Video Requirements:
For this year's competition, we want you to take us on a journey through A Day In Your Life in the world of Hospitality or Culinary Arts. The video should give us a glimpse into your routine, showing both the tasks you perform and the passion you bring to the industry.
You can be as creative as possible with your filming and editing. The video must be filmed in real-life settings that represent your daily experiences. Feel free to include different environments, such as a hotel, restaurant, kitchen, or even outdoor locations, to showcase your day. Here on the right side, you may view the winning video from the last year’s edition of the Scholarship Competition for inspiration!
Competition Requirements:
Must be a valid passport holder and eligible for a Hospitality or Culinary J-1 Intern or Trainee program in the United States. Here you may read more about the J-1 Eligibility Criteria.
The candidate cannot have participated before in a J-1 Intern or Trainee program with us, or cannot be already registered for a program with ITN.
Participants must submit their CV/Resumes here by March 17, 2025, at 12 P.M. PST.
Eligible candidates will submit their video by April 27th, 2025, at 12 P.M. PST.
